Training Programmers
We are running an Early Intervention Programme in this programme we are trying to develop communication skills of hearing impaired children by giving Auditory Therapy, Speech & Language training within age group of 1 month to 3 years.
Realizing the importance of early identification and early intervention we are running a Short Term Parent-Infant Training programme. The main emphasis of this programme was to demonstrate and give training to the parents for speech and language development. One full time teacher for the deaf was fully engaged in this programme. The teacher engaged in the programme also helps in pre-schooling on other working days.
1. Five day CRE programme on theme “Curricular Adaptation” recognized from Rehabilitation Council of India, Govt. of India for Rehabilitation Professionals Special Educators, Rehabilitation Worker etc. was conducted from 13th of November 2013 to 17th of November 2013 at Delhi Institute.
2. Five day CRE programme on theme “Communication option in teaching Deaf & Hard of Hearing Children” recognized from Rehabilitation Council of India, Govt. of India for Rehabilitation Professionals was conducted from 7th of January 2014 to 11th of January 2014 at Raebareli Institute.
3. Three day CRE programme on theme “Reading Disorder (Dyslexia) Assessment and Diagnosis” recognized from Rehabilitation Council of India, Govt. of India for Rehabilitation Professionals was conducted from 24th of March 2014 to 26th of March 2014 at Raebareli Institute.
In-Service Teachers Training Programme of five days each was conducted on Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment and Multi-Category Disabilities (Under SSA) for the Teachers of MCD of District Central in collaboration with Chandra Bhushan Singh Memorial Speech & Hearing Institute, Delhi from 23rd of December 2013 to 10th of January 2014 at Delhi Institute.
